Tucked along a quiet lane in the heart of the island, Passover Cottage offers an intimate retreat where classic elegance meets the easy rhythm of the Keys. Four thoughtfully appointed rooms, a courtyard that breathes, and the warmth of a home that has welcomed travelers for decades.
Passover Cottage was born from a simple conviction: the best places to stay are the ones that feel like they were made with genuine intention — not assembled from a checklist. Nestled on a tree-lined street just minutes from Duval Avenue, our cottage has been a quiet refuge for discerning travelers since 1987.
Each of our four rooms is individually designed, drawing on the rich architectural heritage of Key West — from original heart-pine floors and hand-carved moldings to curated artwork and linens chosen for their substance. We believe hospitality is found in the details: the weight of a well-made towel, the angle of morning light across a courtyard table, the difference between being lodged and being welcomed.
Every space at Passover Cottage has been thoughtfully designed to balance the elegance of Key West's architectural past with the comfort of contemporary living.
King
Our signature suite, named for the island's iconic shell architecture. Features a king bed dressed in Egyptian cotton, a private balcony overlooking the courtyard, and original plaster walls that date to the cottage's founding.
Queen
A refined retreat for the solitary traveler or couple. The Marlin Room offers a queen bed, a work desk crafted from reclaimed teak, and a deep soaking tub — perfect for unwinding after a day on the water.
Two Doubles
Designed for families or friends traveling together, the Palmetto Room features two comfortable double beds, a generous seating area, and a window that frames the swaying fronds of a century-old palmetto.
We don't do chain-hotel standardization. What we offer is something rarer — a place that has been considered, curated, and cared for, room by room.
A shaded, plant-filled courtyard with comfortable seating — the perfect spot for morning coffee or an evening drink beneath the string lights.
From restaurant reservations to private charters, our team provides personalized recommendations and arrangements tailored to your interests.
Heart-pine floors, hand-carved details, and original architectural elements preserved with care — every corner tells a story.
A quiet residential street, yet only minutes from the beach, Duval Avenue, and the best seafood restaurants Key West has to offer.
728 Passover Lane sits on one of the island's most pleasant residential streets — tree-lined, quiet, and authentically Key West. You'll wake to the sound of birds rather than traffic, yet find yourself at the beach, the wharf, and the vibrant restaurant scene in just a few minutes.
The compliments we receive most often aren't about amenities — they're about the feeling a stay here leaves behind.
We've stayed at resorts across the Keys, but nothing compares to the warmth and refinement we found here. The Conch Room was absolutely stunning — the kind of place that makes you want to stay longer than you planned.
The location is perfect — quiet enough to sleep deeply, close enough to walk everywhere. The courtyard is a dream, and the staff remembered our names from day one. This is what a boutique inn should be.
We celebrated our anniversary here and the attention to detail was remarkable. The concierge arranged a private sunset sail, and the room was decorated beautifully. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
